HONORING WAYNE WEART
CHARLESTON, S.C., FEBRUARY 19, 2011 –Wayne Weart, Pharm.D., has been an inspiring educator, mentor, innovator, and friend to health care professionals nationwide for nearly 40 years. "Dr. Weart has been recognized with just about every award a faculty member can receive," said Dr. Raymond S. Greenberg, MUSC president. "Thousands of students, residents, and colleagues have benefited from his knowledge and advice." The college is delighted to honor Dr. Weart through a tribute campaign supporting the new MUSC pharmacy building.
On February 19, 2011, Dr. Wear´s friends and colleagues will come together to celebrate his birthday, toast his contributions to the profession, and raise money in his honor for the new MUSC Pharmacy building. We hope that you will join us for this special evening of celebration.

MUSC PHARMACY FACULTY AND STAFF REACH 70% PARTICIPATION
CHARLESTON, S.C., April 22, 2010 – The MUSC Pharmacy Faculty and Staff has exceeded 70 percent participation in support of the MUSC Pharmacy Building Campaign. The 75 percent marks a six month long push of the MUSC Pharmacy Faculty and Staff Participation Challenge proposed by SCCP Executive Dean Joseph T. DiPiro back in November. Read full press release...
CLASS OF2010 JOINS BUILDING CAMPAIGN WITH CLASS GIFT
Phi Lambda Sigma Also Plans Named Gift
CHARLESTON, S.C., April 22, 2010 – The South Carolina College of Pharmacy (SCCP) Class of 2010 on the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) campus has committed support to the Building Leadership Campaign (BLC) for the College of Pharmacy Building through their class gift. The class has already raised $18,395 and plans to name a Research Fellow Office in the new building, raising more for a Class Gift than any other class of all the MUSC colleges ever.
